THE UPTOWN REBELS
The Uptown Rebels are a family of musicians who are on a mission to spread the positive message and spirituality that is found in all forms of reggae music. The concept of this project began back in March of 2000 and was soon to become known as The One Drop band. After several years of hard work and some success and recognition, the band disbanded but the core of bass (Ras Rob) and guitar (Soon Come Lopez) felt the message was too important to let die out. It is that fire and passion that brought us to this part of our journey., The Uptown Rebels. The Rebel family consists of:
